I have been a tutor for over 12 years, working one-on-one and online. I love it when a student understands a concept and can apply it. Some students are afraid of math, and I want to show them that math is used every day, and they do not need to fear it. I have recently worked with some Algebra students who were able to significantly raise their grades. A former engineer for Raytheon, I was often called upon to get training so that I could instruct fellow employees. The rate listed is for online tutoring. In person tutoring is $50/hr.
